Another important precaution is drying them our properly after riding in the rain. Choose a well-ventilated room at a normal temperature. If the inside of the shoe gets wet, fill it with newspaper. This will accelerate the drying process by absorbing moisture.

When you go to the shop to buy a pair, wear your normal socks. It's important to find the right footwear for you. Choose a size above that of your normal shoes. Your feet will be more comfortable when riding your bike. If you restrict your blood flow, you'll feel colder more quickly.
